Interested parties sent original songs in Portuguese, in the pop rock genre, in audio format, to the Whatsapp numbers in each region covered by the EP Group: Campinas, São Carlos, Ribeirão Preto and Sul de Minas.
The contest will reveal a new pop rock talent. The prize will be a 25-minute performance on the Brasil stage at João Rock, one of the biggest music festivals in Brazil, on June 8, in Ribeirão Preto (SP).
Now, the songs will be evaluated by a technical panel of judges: musicians, music teachers, singers, music producers. The jury will choose 20 semifinalists.

César Augusto is 30 years old, a music producer and music teacher. Throughout his career, he worked with artists from different genres, such as gospel, as well as country duos such as Zé Henrique and Gabriel, Henrique and Diego and Gian and Giovani.
Gilead Philip has been a pianist, keyboardist, arranger and self-taught musician since he was 14 years old. As a musician and producer, he worked with Luísa Possi, Tony Garrido, Fernanda Abreu, Paulo Miklos, Frejat, Sandra Sá, Maiara and Maraisa, Marcos and Belutti, among others.
Music coordinator at Instituto Anelo, a reference in Campinas (SP) in encouraging music for needy communities, Marisa Molchansky, known as Brisa, is also a singer and composer. She recently released her second EP on digital platforms.
The artist has 20 years of experience in shows, recordings, classes, television programs, as well as artistic productions and musical directions. She also teaches at music schools in Campinas.
Musician Everton Lemes has technical training in guitar and a degree in music. He is currently director of the State Conservatory of Music of Varginha (MG).
As a guitarist, he recorded a heavy metal album and participated in seven pop rock and MPB recordings.
Samba singer Bruna Volpi has a degree in popular music, jazz, classical singing and theater. She has already received awards such as the Wev Revelation Trophy.
Estephanie Nascimento is from Minas Gerais and started singing in church at the age of 16. She has sung in samba and forró groups and has international experience with a party band on cruise ships in the United States.
She has a degree in technical singing from the Varginha Conservatory and also works as a singing teacher.
Pianist, accordionist, singer and composer, Luccas Soares is the founder of the Anelo Institute, he studied music at the Conservatório Dr. Carlos de Campos, in Tatuí (SP), and at the Conservatório Souza Lima, in São Paulo.
Soares has recorded with Titãs, Alok, Zeca Baleiro, Wilson Simoninha, Walmir Borges, among others. He is the composer of the song ” Nosso Lugar “, awarded at the Modern Cinema Festival “Tulipani Di Seta Nera”, in Italy, in 2023.
Pedro Leonardo Dantas da Costa is the first-born son of a big name in country music. Leonardo formed, alongside Leandro, one of the greatest duos in the history of the genre and has remained a legend of the style, in a solo career, since 1998, when his brother died as a result of lung cancer.
Under his father’s influence, Pedro formed a successful duo with his cousin Thiago, Leandro’s son, in the 2000s.
The album “Toque de Mágina” went platinum in 2002. Since 2015, Pedro Leonardo has been the presenter of the program “Mais Caminhos”, on EPTV.
Júlia Toledo has a degree in music from Unicamp and is currently studying a bachelor’s degree in conducting. She is another Anelo member on the jury.
She has been responsible for the institute’s choir since 2018 and led projects such as the participation of the children’s choir in the recording of the song “Apocalipse Só”, in partnership with Titãs. Furthermore, she collaborates in social projects by conducting school choirs in public schools.
Rafael Dantas has a 30-year career. He is a teacher of vocal technique for musical theater, as well as an actor, composer of children’s songs and musical director. The singer had an international career as a member of Walt Disney World and was pedagogical coordinator for 4act Performing Arts.
He directed academic productions of musicals from schools in Campinas, including “Beauty and the Beast”, “Alladin” and “The Wizard of Oz”.
Hudson Cadorini forms, alongside his brother Edson, one of the most relevant duos in the history of country music.
The 33-year-old partnership generated hits such as “Foi Deus”, “Azul”, “Te Quero pra mim”, “Galera Coração” and “Deixa Eu Te Amar” and built a legacy combining Edson’s vocal power with the riffs of guitar with rock n roll references from Hudson.
The singer is known for being passionate about rock and bringing heavy metal and hard rock references to the duo.
An important name in the history of national pop rock, Kiko Zambianchi, born in Ribeirão Preto (SP), has a legacy based on the strength of his compositions.
Singer, songwriter and guitarist, he has written songs for many artists and recorded with people from different genres.
Kiko Zambianchi is the composer of “Primeiros Erros”, the biggest hit in the history of Capital Inicial. In 2000, he was invited by the band to participate in the recording of “Acústico MTV”, which further catapulted the career of the group from Brasília (DF).
