Spider-Man: No Return Home managed to not only be a nostalgic event, but also concluded the hero’s trilogy in the MCU, giving space to the main characters of this new version.
Therefore, Spider-Man 4 is expected to feature the return of actors like Zendaya (MJ) and Jacob Batalon (Ned). In addition to Tom Holland (of course), who is the only one confirmed so far.
After shining using the powers of wizards, Ned can gain a very interesting arc. Now that he, MJ and the rest of the world don’t remember Peter Parker’s identity.
But will he return in Spider-Man 4? In a recent interview, Jacob did not guarantee anything. Check out:
I mean, I hope so. I think anyone who’s worked for Marvel knows that you kind of just wait for the call. Maybe it will happen, maybe it won’t. But it’s something you definitely can’t hope for or hope for.

Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios are actively developing Spider-Man 4 with Tom Holland, even though they haven’t officially announced it yet.
In an interview in June 2023, Holland revealed that the film’s script was “very good”. And also in interviews, the President of Sony stated that he hopes that both Tom Holland and Zendaya return for the fourth film.
Rumors suggest that the fourth film should introduce Miles Morales to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and should have the Kingpin as its main villain – find out more.
The hero’s new film does not yet have a release date, but it is expected to premiere before the next Avengers film – which has a release date of May 2026. Therefore, it is likely that the film will debut in theaters around 2025.
