Nestor celebrates first goal after returning from serious injury

Nestor needed just a few minutes on the field to find the net. He was activated by Luis Zubeldía in the 13th minute of the second half and needed around three minutes to score the goal that put Tricolor in front of the scoreboard.

The player has been injured since the end of 2023, when he injured his knee during training. The match that marked his return to the field was against Cobresal, in the second round of the Libertadores group stage, on April 10th.

In the match against Águia de Marabá, last Thursday (2), the number 11 played his first game as a starter after six months. In the following game, against Vitória, he also had the opportunity to start in the starting 11.

Nestor’s next appointment with São Paulo is scheduled for Monday (13th), at 8pm (Brasília time), against São Paulo, at Morumbis, for the Brazilian Championship.
