Sesc Roraima is preparing for another Edition of the Literary Week that has a diverse program

Wom Everything

* The atmosphere is already counting down to the “II Sesc Literary Week, whose program includes book launch, theatrical performance, workshop, workshops, among other activities, on the 15th, 16th and 17th of May at the Sesc Mecejana Activity Center , at Rua Jaranã, 212 – Mecejana. To participate in the workshop and workshops, you must register through online form until May 13th. Entry to the opening and closing event, both at 8pm, will be 1 kg of non-perishable food for Commercial Workers and 2 kg of food for the General Public.

* The opening of Sesc Literary Week on the 15th will be at 8pm, with the launch of the book “Sol do Norte”, by George Farias and Performance Teatral – Clarices, with Grupo Criart Teatral. On the 16th, the Fanfic Workshop will take place with Ayane Camila from 9am to 12pm Chat: The influence of social networks in the formation of readers with Elisa Coimbra and Gabriel Alencar – from 4pm to 5:30pm;

* On the same day, at 8pm, the panel ‘Literature in a click: new possible narratives’ will be held with Sony Ferseck, Ernandes Dantas, Pétira Maria and Francisco Alves and mediation by Aldenor Pimentel – 8pm.

* The closing of the “Sesc Literary Week” is scheduled for Friday, 17th, with the Workshop ‘From Writer to Digital Creator: production of Interactive Books on Free Platforms’ with Hipácia Caroline from 9am to 11am;

* From 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm, Bia Cruz will teach the Workshop ‘Digitization and Editing of Images for Comics’ and to close the extensive program, the lecture ‘ChatGPT and the Art of Literary Writing: Combining Artificial Intelligence with Creative Minds’ will take place with Prof . Dr. Raimundo Barreto, at 8pm.

Sing & Enchant

* Faculdade Cathedral was the stage for “Canta e Encanta”, an Extension Project created in 2019 to implement the inclusion policy, in addition to encouraging local culture, through performances by artists from Roraima, invited to participate in the event.

* The most recent edition took place last Tuesday, 7th, to the sound of classics of Brazilian Popular Music, xote and songs from Roraima, bringing together the academic community of that Institution, an opportunity in which donations were collected for the victims of the floods in Rio Grande southern.

At the Pit Stop

* The city’s traditional Pit Stop will be holding its annual Mother’s Day party this Saturday, 11th, starting at 9 pm with videoke for them and various gifts for those who sing. This is not a contest, everyone who participates will be awarded prizes.

* On Saturday night it will be family friendly, where mothers can take their children’s partners. There will be no prior registration, to participate, simply arrive at the venue and request the music.
