The pressure from Santa Catarina society in search of solutions for Morro dos Cavalos, on BR-101, in Palhoça (SC), had an effect. At the meeting last Wednesday (24), at the headquarters of the Ministry of Transport, in Brasília (DF), the feeling was one of optimism.

On the occasion, leaders of the Santa Catarina parliament, in the federal capital, heard from minister Renan Filho a commitment to, within 15 days, deliver a report to Arteris Litoral Sul, in order to rearrange budgets and deliver a faster solution.
The idea is that it will be possible to extract values from within the concession contract itself, regardless of the link that will be in force until 2033.
In this case, it would not be necessary to extend the contract or even adjust the rates. This movement is being led by Valir Cobalchini (MDB), Ivete da Silveira (MDB) and Esperidião Amin (PP).

Full of bottlenecks, Santa Catarina sees its mobility as one of the biggest problems to be resolved urgently. This obstacle passes through BR-101, in Morro dos Cavalos, which two weeks ago collapsed and simply blocked a corridor in South America.
Given the vulnerability of the location, there is an urgency for solutions to be presented otherwise Santa Catarina, and Brazil, will simply stagnate.
