Hotel in Rio Grande do Sul is voted the best in the world – VoeNews

Located in Gramado, Hotel Colline de France had the best reviews from travelers

Brazil continues to top the list of the best hotels in the world! The Hotel Colline de France, in Gramado, Rio Grande do Sul, leads, for the third time, the ranking of the travel website Tripadvisor. The Travelers’ Choice award considers the reviews published by tourists using the platform. Every year the site rewards destinations, hotels, tourist attractions and favorite restaurants among travelers around the world.

Brazilian accommodation competed with another 1.6 million establishments advertised on the platform. According to the website, Colline de France has more than 4,000 5-star reviews from tourist users. Other Brazilian establishments appear on the list of the 25 best hotels in the world, such as the Salinas Maragogi All Inclusive Resosrt, in Alagoas, which came in 13th place.

According to Tripadvisor, the award took into account the quality and quantity of reviews published by tourists between January 1st and December 31st, 2023, in addition to a review by the site’s editorial team. The competition also features awards in specific categories such as “best pet-friendly hotel”, “sustainability” and “well-being”.
