Are you following? On air since Monday (22) on Record, the second season of “A Grande Conquista” arrived and delivered a lot. But, among the 100 participants confined to the reality show (the broadcaster’s original format), several have barely appeared in editions of the program. Among them, the lawyer, Japanese teacher and singer from Mato Grosso do Sul Hideo Matsunaga, who is practically not seen.

“Where is he?”, “Hideo disappeared”, “I called to see our countryman and I didn’t see anything” are some of the comments on social media about the lack of prominence for the Ponte-Porã native. However, as the game starts with 100 people, including celebrities, sub-celebrities and anonymous people, Hideo is not the only one who does not appear.

Even those who watch the reality show every day find it difficult to memorize the names of all the people. And it’s not even necessary, because most people barely have screen time. In these first episodes, in fact, the program has focused on narratives involving some specific names and weighed in on the VTs for the same people.

Hideo, in turn, when he appears, is always seen in the background talking to someone, while things happen in “The Great Conquest”.

Trajectory of Mato Grosso do Sul in Record’s reality show

Presented by Rachel Sheherazade, “The Great Conquest” divides the 100 confined into three houses: green, blue and orange – with, in this order, the degree of difficulty of each one. The green one has the most perks and luxuries and faces the least problems. Blue is the middle ground: not so good and not so bad. As for orange… that’s where the conquerors have the hardest time.

With draws and decisions made in the first episode, Hideo was assigned to the Blue House. There, he shares the space with 32 other residents. In total, 33 people live in the space, which has just 7 beds.

With no screen time in the first two episodes, the lawyer from Mato Grosso do Sul had more space this Wednesday (24), when he was nominated for the first Risk Zone (name of the wall in “A Grande Conquista”). But, by participating in the Prova da Virada to escape the spotlight, Hideo got the better of his group and is no longer in danger of being among the first eliminated.

Also this Wednesday (24), the Japanese teacher had his first discussion. He and participant Graci Zermiani fought over meals at the blue house. The golfer found out that the man from Mato Grosso do Sul said she was “ruining” her food and went to get satisfaction, arguing that she was eating little and giving up her breakfast to eat a banana.

Having no patience for his competitor, Hideo said: “You want to appear, that’s it, you want to appear.”

Before entering “A Grande Conquista”, the lawyer promised that he would “cause” in the reality show. Perhaps this is the first sign that he will actually keep his promise.

The fight, however, could only be watched by those who subscribe to PlayPlus and watch the program on payperview. Perhaps the broadcaster will show the moment in this Thursday’s episode (25).

Who is Hideo, from Mato Grosso do Sul in A Grande Conquista

Let him know he’s here… singer, lawyer and Japanese teacher Hideo Matsunaga is in the cast of “A Grande Conquista”, Record’s original reality show that premiered on Monday (22). Born in Ponta Porã (MS), a city located 312 kilometers from Campo Grande, the artist is 36 years old and represents Mato Grosso do Sul in the competition.

“I’m very excited about this program, I’m chasing my dream. Everyone knows I love to sing. It will be a wonderful showcase. I’m counting on you because I’m going to cause it there, the Japanese will cause it”, declared Hideo in a video posted on his social networks.

Born on the border between MS and Paraguay, the Japanese descendant considers himself a true Paraguayan and, despite working as a civil lawyer and being a Japanese language teacher, his biggest dream is to make a living from music.

At the age of 16, Hideo participated in a karaoke contest for the first time. Since then, he started to compete in several competitions throughout Brazil, managing to be among the 10 best in the country in 2009. At the age of 18, he received an invitation to start as a country singer and, as a result, he received the artistic name Bruno Carrera – as is known to many.
