Civil Police investigate possible case of racial insult during school games in Andradas, MG

The Andradas Civil Police investigates a possible case of racial insult during a futsal match between local schools in the 22nd edition of the School Games.

The case happened last Monday (22). The main student involved is a minor and was filmed with prejudiced speeches. The police investigation will investigate her conduct against another public school student. Both institutions are from Andradas.

After the case, the games organization decided to disqualify the team from Instituto Educacional Alfa, the school involved in the comments, which was also prevented from participating in the awards event on Tuesday (23).

The school that had the students involved in the prejudiced comments stated that it regrets the racist demonstrations that took place during the games. And he expressed a commitment to promoting a safe, fair and inclusive sporting environment for participants.
