The exhibition “Paulo Freire in Brasília: the fabric of an emancipatory education” enters the virtual world to pay homage to the Patron of Brazilian Education with the recording of remarkable facts about his presence in the capital of the Republic.

The exhibition, on display on the website paulofreireembrasilia.com.br, is the result of extensive research carried out by the Federal District Education Museum (MUDE), and presents valuable findings about Paulo Freire’s educational work in Brasília.

The content is gathered in two virtual rooms that present relevant facts from Paulo Freire’s career at different historical moments. Diving into this universe presents Internet users with a collection of photographs, texts and audiovisual content generated from the educator’s presence in the Federal District in the 1960s, 1980s and 1990s.

The exhibition is part of an interactive digital platform and values ​​the history and culture of the capital, the stage for educational activities by the honoree that gained representation in the historical context.
