Court of Justice of the State of Mato Grosso (TJMT) and Court of Justice of the State of Piauí (TJPI), through their Internal Affairs, signed a strategic partnership aimed at sharing and developing solutions aimed at improving jurisdictional, administrative and correctional activity . The core of this collaboration is the technological tool known as the Internal Affairs Information Robot (RIC), developed by the General Inspectorate of Piauí (CGJ-PI).

The agreement was signed by judges Clarice Claudino da Silva (president of the TJMT), Juvenal Pereira (general inspector of Justice of Mato Grosso), Antônia Siqueira Gonçalves (supervisor of the Judicial Cooperation Center of the TJMT) and Olímpio José Passos Galvão (corrector- General Court of Piauí) and establishes a favorable scenario for the combination of efforts between institutions.

The partnership, initiated by the coordinating judge of the TJMT Judicial Cooperation Center, and now TJMT judge, Rodrigo Curvo, was formalized through a Technical Cooperation Agreement, after a technical visit carried out by the Piauí delegation to the Mato Grosso Court in January of this year and its main focus was the exchange of systems and information between the courts of Justice.

The RIC robot is considered an innovative system that has demonstrated the potential to optimize procedures and increase efficiency in the judicial sphere. Furthermore, the partnership foresees the use of the Microsoft Teams video conferencing platform to facilitate communication and content sharing between the teams involved.

Getting to know the RIC Robot – During a technical visit, in January this year, carried out by the Piauí delegation to the Mato Grosso Court, the innovations and good practices implemented by CGJ-TJMT were presented. Visitors learned about the functioning of the office of the magistrate and auxiliary judges, the coordination and the Departments of the Extrajudicial Forum (DFE), Support for Special Courts (DAJE), Improvement of the First Instance (DAPI) and Administrative Judiciary (DJA), in addition to the State Judicial Adoption Commission (CEJA).

The delegation from Piauí presented the functionalities of the RIC Robot, emerging during this visit as the partnership initiative as a form of collaboration and exchange of knowledge between the courts. Technical Cooperation Agreement No. 19/2024, was signed on March 22, and is valid for 24 months, with the possibility of extension.
