Journalist Antero Greco’s health condition is ‘stable and delicate’, says medical bulletin

The journalist Antero Greco remains hospitalized and his clinical condition is considered ‘stable and delicate’according to a medical bulletin issued this Sunday, 12. The ESPN presenter is admitted to the Hospital Beneficência Portuguesa Mirante, in São Paulo.

The bulletin, signed by executive director and doctor Renato Vieira, states that Antero remains hospitalized and receives all the support necessary for his clinical condition.

Antero is hospitalized in a semi-intensive unit at the hospital, the bulletin finally said. The journalist was diagnosed with a brain tumor in June 2022.

Last Saturday, the 11th, Antero’s bench colleague, Paulo Soares, better known as ‘Amigão’, stated that Antero “is in his final days”.

“Friends, unfortunately my great friend and one of us all, Antero Greco, is in his final days. Brain tumor. He has been fighting since June 22, but now there is nothing left to do. He is at Mirante da Beneficência Portuguesa. Get some sleep deep, serene. Doesn’t wake up and doesn’t speak anymore. Vital signs still respond well”, stated Amigão in the post.
