In an interview with CARAS Brasil, experts Monica Passananti and Alexander Bez warn about the education of Luana Piovani and Pedro Scooby’s children

In an interview with CARAS Brazilthe specialist Monica Passanantipsychopedagogue and parental educator, warned against removing the boy from the school environment.
According to the pedagogue, being away from school for 20 days could have negative consequences for Dom, as he is at a stage in childhood where there is a greater need for cognitive, intellectual, social and cultural development. Furthermore, this is the time when children/adolescents come into contact with more complex content, deepening their repertoire and absences do not help during this period.
“At this stage there is also the stimulation of critical sense, reflective attitudes, the formation of values and learning itself. Being away from school for a long time can cause great damage to the overall development of the child/adolescent”explains Monica Passananti.

“Since the pandemic, I have come to realize how much students have been harmed, not only in learning, but also in their development and social contact. With this in mind, I believe that if the student does not have a need that justifies home education, they will be deprived of to socialize, to exchange experiences, to build a critical sense, to be prepared to exercise citizenship and to adapt to the job market in the future”he states.
Regarding divergences in Luana and Scooby’s education, the educational psychologist says that the situation can cause minor trauma in the child: “can generate insecurity, lack of connection and a feeling of not belonging. The child/adolescent may not feel cared for, seen and respected”.
The same was evaluated by the psychologist Alexander Bezwho believes that separated parents need to be even more attentive when raising their heirs. “This situation, when it becomes recurrent and public, can affect the child psychologically, causing anxiety and panic attacks, difficulty in relating, depression, among other problems”it says.
“It is important for parents to remember that the marriage relationship no longer exists, but the relationship that links them to the education of their children is important so that children feel loved, welcomed, safe and respected by both mother and father. This unity will help encourage your children to be a better version of themselves”adds Monica Passananti.
