Madonna is in Rio de Janeiro to end her tour The Celebration Tour with a free show in Copacabana next Saturday (4). Even though the Queen of Pop is not leaving the hotel, her team has been touring the wonderful city, and the artist’s makeup artist even took the opportunity to go shopping at Saara, an address famous for popular shopping, in the center of the capital of Rio de Janeiro.
Aaron Smith Henrikson He said he went to a store on Rua Senhor dos Passos in search of a t-shirt inspired by Madonna. He wanted a model that imitated the famous cone bra that the singer wore during the tour Blonde Ambitionin the 1990s.
“It really feels like the whole country is focused on Madonna’s visit to Rio de Janeiro. There’s a buzz in the air. Fans are already shopping for looks, like this t-shirt with the cone bra,” he said.
The makeup artist said he went to the store looking for the item of clothing, but they were already sold out. He needed to get a t-shirt that was in the window, but the store employees told him that they are still receiving orders to deliver the t-shirt by next Friday (3).
“One of the most incredible things about this show is that it will happen for free throughout Brazil. I noticed that many fans are also coming from other South American countries, such as Argentina and Chile. Together, I think they will form one of the audiences more passionate and excited than I’ve ever seen at a Madonna show,” he said.
“When you’re shopping or walking along Copacabana beach, it’s as if the whole city is vibrating with positive energies. Maybe it’s the caipirinhas, maybe it’s the açaí, maybe it’s the girls and boys from Rio, or maybe it’s Madonna” , concluded Aaron.
