Netflix and Disney+ promise a busy month with highly anticipated releases. Among May’s streaming premieres, Bridgerton It is Monsters at Work are the main highlights of the platforms. The series returns for its third season, as the animated series continues the legacy of Mike and Sully in its second year.
The highlights don’t stop there. On Disney+, one of the most respected series in history – Doctor Who – reaches its 14th season with something new: the introduction of Ncuti Gatwa (from Sex Education). On the Netflix side, the streaming platform presents comedies with renowned actors and for all tastes.

The Pop-Tart Cookie Battle (day 3)
Starring Jerry Seinfeld, the film follows the story behind the creation of the Pop-Tart. At a time when milk and cereal dominated breakfast, companies entered into a fierce battle to revolutionize the meal.

Monsters at Work – Season Two (day 5)
The sequel to Monsters Inc. (2001) follows the story of two talented, creative and good-humored workers: Tylor Tuskmon and Val Little. While trying to improve the company, the duo has one big goal in mind: they want to work alongside their idols, Mike and Sully.

The Mother of the Bride (day 9)
In a typical Netflix romantic comedy, the plot follows a wedding on a paradise island. What could go wrong? The bride’s mother discovers that the groom’s father is her ex-boyfriend. The film features Brooke Shields, Miranda Cosgrove, Benjamin Bratt and Rachael Harris in the cast.

Doctor Who – Fourteenth Season (10th)
In this new phase, Ncuti Gatwa is the first black person to play the protagonist of the series. The character, who has the ability to regenerate when death is imminent, always returns with a different look and personality.

Bridgerton – Third Season (16th)
In the first part of Bridgerton’s third year, viewers will be treated to the blossoming romance between Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) – affectionately nicknamed Polin by fans.
In the plot, Penelope Featherington gave up on her longtime passion for Colin Bridgerton after hearing his derogatory comments about her in the series’ second year episodes. But she decides it’s time to find a husband – preferably one who will give her enough independence to continue her double life as Lady Whistledown, away from her mother and sisters.
