With a total prize of R$3.33 million, including the final prize and those accumulated during the competitions, Davi reveals a new lifestyle of luxury and adventure. Among his most coveted desires is the purchase of a Porsche, an icon of status and elegance that costs more than R$1.5 million. “I want to have those good cars, those Porsches, to go out for a ride”, shared Davi.
The former app driver plans trips to coveted destinations such as Paris and the Maldives, as well as romantic dinners at the Eiffel Tower and water adventures on jet skis.
During the interview, Davi stated that, now rich and famous, he will want to lead a life of ostentation:
“People see a black guy like this reaching the top: ‘because he’s black, he has to sell water’. There’s no such thing, partner. Black people can’t go up any higher? Do they have to be a waiter? Black people can’t buy anymore a whiskey? I’m this person who can get to the top. That’s racist. It’s because I’m black. ‘Davi doesn’t deserve to get there.’
However, David does not forget his roots. Raised in the community of Cajazeiras, in Salvador, Bahia, the young man has a firm commitment to his community. He announced his intention to use part of his prize to buy basic food baskets to distribute to families in the Cajazeiras neighborhood.
In the interview, the young champion also said that he intends to help his family and go to medical school.
