Luciana Gimenez used social media to update fans about her health status
After feeling ill and ‘disappearing’ in recent days, Luciana Gimenez used Instagram Stories to update fans about her health. The presenter, who was suspected of having pneumonia, explained what actually happened.
According to the famous woman, it all started when her youngest son, Lorenzo, from her previous marriage to Marcelo de Carvalho, got the flu, and she thought she had contracted the virus from the boy.
“I ended up taking a week of vacation with my son, we went to Bahia, he was sick, I thought it was the flu or something. He gave me a virus. I thought it would get better, everyone I was with I got a bit of a cold too, with this virus. I said: ‘Ah, normal’, because viruses, we know that over time and when you rest, it gets better”, she began.
“He got better, and I started to get worse. When I got home on Friday, I said: ‘Well, now I’m going to take the weekend, I’m going to relax and recover’, but it wasn’t quite like that… We arrived from Bahia on Friday, I spent the whole weekend soaking here with Lolo in bed, Sunday, I thought I was going to take Lorenzo to the hospital, but he got better, and Monday, I woke up thinking ‘Ah , now go’, but I felt bad, I spent the whole week feeling bad”, continued the presenter.
Gimenez also gave details of his first trip to the doctor: “On Thursday, I couldn’t stand it, I went to the doctor and she said to me: ‘Look, your vital signs are fine. So, you’re going to get better’. Okay, I decided to wait. I came home,” he revealed.
“When it came to Sunday night, I was really bad, I couldn’t breathe properly, I was sweating cold, I had a fever, my stomach was ‘wrong’. For me to say that I have to go to the hospital, it’s because I’m feeling bad,” she said, before to add:
“I went into the hospital early in the morning, I thought everything was going to be fine, we did all the tests, and when taking an image of my chest, it showed that I had a spot, which was suspected of pneumonia. They started giving me antibiotics through my veins, I took several things and ended up coming home.”
Regarding the diagnosis, Luciana Gimenez stated: “I don’t have that report, I don’t have that answer, I don’t know what I have, I only know the symptoms, sometimes this happens, doctors aren’t magicians, during the week, I still have some other tests to do”.
Even so, she showed that she has already returned to work. “I’m a person who likes to work. I don’t have anything that people can catch, it’s a problem with myself, an infection of mine and I’m already medicated. I thought that if I came to the program, I would be distracted, have fun “, he concluded.
