You Killer Castor Beans were a Brazilian comedic rock band formed in Guarulhos, São Paulo, in the early 90s. Their unique style mixed rock, humor and satire in their lyrics and performances.
The band, which gained a legion of fans in a short time, was composed of Dinho (vocals), Bento Hinoto (guitar), Samuel Reoli (bass), Júlio Rasec (keyboard) and Sérgio Reoli (drums), all musicians with charisma. odd.
In 1995, Mamonas released their self-titled debut album “Mamonas Assassinas”, which became an instant phenomenon, selling millions of copies.

Unfortunately, the band’s meteoric rise was tragically cut short on March 2, 1996, when the group suffered a fatal plane crash.
The plane that transported them, a Learjet 25, collided with Serra da Cantareira, near São Paulo, causing the death of all members of the band and the team that accompanied them.
The accident shocked Brazil, generating great national commotion, so much so that it also marked the premature end of the career of Mamonas Assassinas, who left a lasting legacy in the music Brazilian.
