Bands whose members fight are not rare to find, but fighting on stage is more difficult. This was the case with the Scottish alternative rock band The Jesus and Mary Chain, as reported by André Barcinski on the B3+1 podcast.

Barcinski said he witnessed the fight, which ended up causing them to not speak for years. It is worth remembering that some of the group’s hits include the hits “Just Like Honey” and “April Skies”.
“There was one time I saw a band falling into a fight on stage, during the show. Now, most fights and fights happen away from the stage, right. You’re never there to witness it. This case was a famous band, The Jesus and Mary Chain. They didn’t record for years after that show. I was in New York in 1998. You’ll know what happens off stage! They are two brothers: Jim Reid and William Reid. It’s a shame that I wasn’t taking photos that day. They literally walked away at the show,” he said.

On the SMH website, Jim commented on the case: “We haven’t spoken for a few years. Mom and Dad still love family Christmases, and we got together to make the Sister Vanilla album [com a irmã Linda]. It will never be perfect. We still yell at each other.”
