Stories of the Empire takes viewers inside the oppressive and feared Galactic Empire through the eyes and actions of two warriors on divergent paths, set in different times. “A vengeful young woman and a former Jedi navigate the ruthless Galactic Empire in different eras, with their distinct choices shaping their destinies in a rapidly changing galaxy,” the synopsis reads.

The young woman in question is the character Morgan Elsbeth, who, after losing everything she had most valuable, travels through the imperial world in search of revenge against those who did her wrong. The former Jedi present in the narrative is Barriss Offee, a warrior willing to do whatever is necessary to survive in a dangerous and rapidly changing galaxy.

Star Wars: Stories of the Empire is the creation of Dave Filoni, who has been involved in several other projects in the science fiction franchise, such as The Mandalorian (2019), Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008) and Star Wars Rebels (2014).

In addition to creating the attraction, Filoni also serves as supervising director and executive producer, alongside Athena Yvette Portillo and Carrie Beck. Josh Rimes serves as co-executive producer and Alex Spotswood is senior producer.

As well as the production team, the voice cast of Star Wars: Stories of the Empire also makes great contributions. The protagonists of the series come to life through Diana Lee Inosanto (Morgan Elsbeth) and Meredith Salenger (Barriss Offee).
