Last Thursday (2), the construction company responsible for the work to extend Rua Minas Gerais, in Engenheiro Coelho, began work on marking and constructing sidewalk guides. The phase began after the reconstruction of the site’s walls and the receipt of drinking water and sewage pipes.

According to Engenheiro Coelho City Hall, in a newsletter published on social media, the next steps in the work schedule include the construction of sidewalks and asphalting. The extension of the street aims to facilitate the flow of vehicles and pedestrians.

Remember the phases of the reform:

In mid-March, work continued with the reconstruction of the wall parallel to the street. Next, trenches were opened to connect water and sewage to the residences on the street, followed by the process of installing guides, gutters and sidewalks on the stretch. In the second week of April, drilling began on the 61 points of the foundation piles, which were carried out using the Continuous Helix Machine. The drilling process included immediate concreting by the machine, which prevented water from accumulating.
