Volunteers help rescue Canoas residents

In Vale do Taquari, the region most affected during the September 2023 floods, the Taquari River exceeded 30 meters in height and reached the highest level in history. The river level reached 31.2 meters, higher than the flood recorded in September 2023, when it reached 29.5 meters, and the highest high recorded until then, which was 29.9 meters, in 1941.
