O Igarapé Musical, the result of a partnership between the city hall and the Boa Vista Institute of Music (IBVM), is back. And this Saturday, the 4th, there will be a special edition: the Symphonic Igarapé. This is because the IBVM Symphony Orchestra will be one of the attractions of the night. The event will start at 7pm, at Praça do Mirandinha, Caçari neighborhood.
After the performance of the concert works by the orchestra, the bands Fusion Jazz It is Highlight will also perform, bringing to the public a different repertoire, covering different musical genres such as Jazz, blues, groove and MPB. In addition, there will also be a stage open to anyone and everyone who wishes to perform.
This has been the difference of “Igarapé”, which over the years has become an excellent tool for disseminating local music, where several artists have found an opportunity to show their work to the public. In this way, IBVM provides musicians with all the necessary structure in order to stimulate the most diverse music in the city, valuing and spreading Roraima’s musical culture.
