Australian police had to respond to a somewhat unusual call at a Queensland shopping center this week. Upon arriving at the scene, police found a child inside a stuffed animal machine.
The “victim” was Ethan, just three years old, who scared his parents when he managed to get into the equipment, without knowing how to get out. To free the child, the police had to break the glass of the machine, but the entire procedure was carried out very carefully.
Before breaking the glass, the agents asked the child to move away and cover his eyes. The child’s parents were there and accompanied the entire rescue. Everything went well and the boy was not injured.
After the boy was released, the police still played with him. “Which one do you want?”, stated one of the agents, referring to the stuffed animals in the machine, since Ethan probably entered the equipment looking for a toy.
The video of the rescue was published on the Australian police profile on X (formerly Twitter) with a fun caption. “Ethan and the Police: 1. Plush Machine: 0”.
