247 – Turkish President Recep Erdogan said on Wednesday (15) that Israel is a “terrorist state” that commits war crimes and violates international law in Gaza, while repeating his opinion that Hamas is not a terrorist organization. According to him, Hamas is a political party elected by the Palestinians, reports the Jerusalem Post.

Speaking to lawmakers in parliament, Erdogan also asked Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to announce whether Israel had nuclear bombs or not.

Erdogan’s comments echo similar statements he has made since the October 7 massacre. He has repeatedly called Israel an “occupier,” insisting that the Zionist state was attacked by Palestinian “freedom fighters.”
