
Palestinians protest in the West Bank against the war between Hamas and Israel
A Palestinian protest took over Ramallah on Wednesday (1). Men and women carried flags and occupied the city streets. Young people and even children participated in the demonstration in response to the Israeli attack on Jabaliawhich is north of the Gaza Strip.
Images released by international agencies show what was left after the bombing. Amid the wreckage, volunteers searched for injured victims. The Israeli government stated that, with this attack, it managed to kill Ibrarrim Biárione of the Hamas commanders responsible for planning the terrorist group’s military actions. Hamas denied that there was any commander at the scene.
A man who participated in the protest in Ramallahthis week, spoke with the photographer and documentary filmmaker Gabriel Chaim about what young people expect from this event:
“People of this generation are hopeful, they want to believe in peace. We want the world to take action, to open the borders between Gaza and Egypt, so that the people there can at least have the chance to live”, highlights the young Palestinian.
Palestinian families flee their homes in fear of war
In a special report for the FantasticGabriel Chaim traveled there and spoke to families who are abandoning everything and fleeing their homes, afraid of the war between Hamas and Israel.
In a camp, 8 people live in a cramped space.
“I had to buy all of this used. We managed to bring a pan or two, but the rest I had to buy to put here: the stove, the closet, the bed. Everything we had was left behind. It’s a horrible situation”, reports Mohamad Ali.
Since the war began in October, Morrâmed’s family has dealt with fear, hunger and a lack of water. Problems that seem far from over.
“My children change schools three times a year. On this path, they have no future. There is no way to have a future like that.”
