In October 2021, Pozatto posted a text on his Facebook profile praising the structure of the Artists’ Retreat and committing to a visit there.
“Rio is the only Brazilian city that offers cozy housing for our artists who are retired or without residence, without relatives, without health, without money, without destination. I really want to get to know this space so cherished, respected, so carefully managed, for many years, by the brave and tireless Stepan Nercessian, with the valuable help of Zezé Motta”, he wrote.
In addition to the actor, names such as Leny Andrade, Paulo Cesar Pereiro and Rui Resende, among others, reside at Retiro dos Artistas. Professionals from other areas, such as former goalkeeper Manga, also have vacancies at the institution.
Another famous actress who passed by Globo, Solange Couto, who was recently seen in the rerun of O Clone no Vale a Pena Ver de Novo, spent a few months there, during the pandemic, to be with her mother, who lived there.
