The audience for “Renascer” continues to surprise Globo. The chapters on Monday (29) and Tuesday (30) scored 27.9 and 27.3 points in São Paulo, respectively. This adds up to two pieces of good news for the broadcaster: public loyalty happened sooner than expected; the traditional “weaning” period between two successful soap operas was internalized by the public – the orphans from “Terra & Paixão” kept the TV on at the station.

The good news about “Renascer” is national. In Rio de Janeiro, even on Flamengo’s Band game days, the indices exceed 30 points. In Brasília, the serial surpasses even “Jornal Nacional”, the public champion of the federal capital.

In São Paulo, one audience point corresponds to more than 190 thousand viewers per minute. This account, according to the Teleguiado, website specializing in TV audiences, excludes cities outside the metropolitan region. This means that many more people watch the serial – and other programs shown on open channels.

In the USA, the audience is extrapolated to the entire territory. That’s why the numbers there (often) seem more robust.
