A AMC revealed an unprecedented teaser for The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Livea derivative that will reunite Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and Michonne (Danai Gurira) after the ex-sheriff’s farewell in the ninth season of the original series. The preview promises answers about the fate of the two characters in addition to announcing the official premiere date for February 25th. Check it out above.
The derivative will have the return of Pollyanna McIntosh like Jadis, in addition to Terry O’Quinn like Beale and Matt Jeffries like Nat.
Described as an epic love story, the series features Scott M. Gimple as showrunner and executive producer. Lincoln also performs this last role alongside Denise Huth It is Brian Bockrath; read the official synopsis:
“Rick and Michonne are thrown into another world, built on a war against the dead… and, ultimately, the living. Can they find themselves and who they used to be in a context unlike anything they’ve ever known? Are they enemies? Lovers? Victims? Winners? Without each other, are they really alive — or will they discover that they, too, are Undead?”
With six episodes, the new derivative of The Walking Dead will be released in February 25th.
