Former BBBs Viih Tube and Eliezer talk about offensive comments against their daughter: ‘It’s not an opinion, it’s an attack’ | Television

Rio – TV Globo’s “Fantástico”, this Sunday spoke with former BBBs Viih Tube and Eliezer to discuss whether the internet is a safe place to publish photos and videos of children. The two influencers are parents to little Lua, just seven months old, who is already receiving attacks from internet users. According to the couple, the attacks on Lua began when she was three months old and, at first, the comments were disguised as tips.

“What’s the point of being born rich, but being obese?’. ‘She had everything to be beautiful, but she’s obese. Poor thing’. ‘She’s going to explode (laughs).’ Eliezer. “That’s not an opinion. That’s an attack,” agreed Viih Tube.

The couple even thought about stopping posting photos of their daughter on social media. “We had this conversation, but I don’t regret it, I don’t think it’s our fault for everything we’re going through that we chose to expose our family. I also exposed my pregnancy a lot and I don’t regret it at all, because I helped countless mothers and it did me a lot of good to hear them and have this exchange. We are posting a photo of our happy family, it is something natural for us”, said the influencer.

She and Elizer even recorded a video with Lua’s pediatrician to show that the child is perfectly healthy, but the attacks still continued. “I started to understand that people are not worried about the health of the Moon. People want to attack,” said Eliezer. “From full, it went to fat, it went to obese, it went to sick, it went: ‘it’s going to explode’. One comment What really hit me was: ‘you already have R$1 million in your account, you can do several bariatric surgeries when… when you get big'”, lamented the influencer, emotionally.

The hate messages gained even more strength when Viih Tube said that all advertising money earned from Lua’s image goes to an account in the baby’s name. “Lua already has R$1 million, I swear to God. I’m going to have to have financial education for my daughter because she’s going to be born with a lot of privileges, right, guys?”, said the influencer.

Also according to the couple, some people say that “since you are exposing your daughter, then you have to take the hit.” Viih Tube said that the messages cause the family a lot of suffering. “On the pillow, he just cries. And he really cries, he loses his breath, because he feels like he has nothing to do. That’s what touches me, not being able to protect not only my daughter but my family” .

Eliezer and Viih Tube then decided to deal with the attacks in court. “They will respond for slander, defamation and insult. (The internet) is not a lawless land. It is necessary to hold each of those individuals responsible for the acts committed. A single comment attacks many people, this type of thing we cannot tolerate” , said Pedro Mansur, lawyer for Viih Tube and Eliezer.

“Honestly, I think people will only start to feel it when it affects their pockets. Then they sue, so they have to pay”, commented Viih Tube.
