After kissing Daniel (João Baldasserini), Mariana (Juliana Schalch) is uncomfortable with her ex-husband’s approach to Domitila (Rayssa Zago) in The Childhood of Romeo and Juliet, a children’s plot shown by SBT. And in the next chapters, she asks why he ran into the arms of the food critic when he kissed and declared himself to her before.
Mariana tells Daniel that he is acting like a needy womanizer, who has no emotional responsibility, since he doesn’t like Domitila but still keeps her close. In response, the chef states that he and his wife are friends and a meeting of fate.
Scenes before, the father of Juliet (Vittória Seixas) asked his ex-wife to stay away from her boyfriend and reinforced that the two are not compatible. Moved by his concern, Mariana expressed her gratitude. Soon after, the two become romantically involved and kiss.
Afterwards, Daniel confessed that he can’t stop thinking about them together. However, Mariana made it clear that she doesn’t have time for him, as she is being accused of scamming him along with Simon (Anderson Tomazini) and recently moved house; Daniel offered his help and says she doesn’t have to face everything alone.
