The ex-BBB Wagner Santiago spoke out last Tuesday, the 14th, after seeing his name mentioned in comments on posts in which Gleici Damasceno reports having suffered abuse and aggression from an ex-boyfriend.

In publications made by the BBB18 champion on X (formerly Twitter), she cited the case of Ana Hickmannwho was attacked by her husband, Alexandre Correa, recently. “In view of the countless messages I have received in the last few hours, I would like to officially comment on the events that occurred and this will be the only thing I will say about this matter. I had a relationship with Gleici Damasceno that officially started in April 2018 and ended definitively in December 2019. We are more than three years away from this end”, wrote Santiago at the beginning of the note.

According to him, his relationship with Gleici went through “many ups and downs, family problems, scheduling conflicts, hyperexposure, haters and gossip.” In his view, all of this happened because the relationship began within the Globo reality show.

“Yesterday, I was surprised by accusations of aggression/abuse in some posts demonstrating support for a woman, victim of domestic violence, made by Gleici, a situation in which my name was not mentioned, but there were insinuations”, pointed out the influencer.

“Although I cannot evaluate or judge the triggers and motivations for this to have come to light now, I can understand what she felt and feels to this day, and for the words I said at that moment, in the purest sincerity, I ask for forgiveness”, declared. “I want to state that this type of behavior that they allegedly linked to me does not match my attitudes in my affective and interpersonal relationships, and if, unfortunately, traumas occurred in relationships that over time became toxic, I ask for forgiveness and affirm that my search for being a better human being does not include these traits,” he continued.

The ex-BBB also stated that the best decision was to end the relationship. “My manifestation of change was to remain firm in my decision, to end it and keep it that way, it was difficult, but it was the right thing to do. I can say that I am a man seeking to embrace my weaknesses, issues related to masculinity, much more aware of my role and always willing to listen”, concludes the note.

In the next story, the former BBB left a message: “There are happy endings and there are such endings to make you happy again.”
