After Gleici Damasceno stated that she suffered abuse and aggression in an old relationship, ex-BBB Wagner Santiago spoke out after being identified by the web as responsible for what happened.
“In view of the countless messages I have received in the last few hours, I would like to officially comment on the events that occurred and this will be the only thing I will say about this matter. I had a relationship with Gleici Damasceno that officially started in April 2018 and ended definitively in December 2019. We are more than three years away from this end”, he began.
Their relationship began on the global program and, according to him, because of this, their relationship went through “many ups and downs, family problems, scheduling conflicts, hyperexposure, haters and gossip.”
“Yesterday, I was surprised by accusations of aggression/abuse in some posts demonstrating support for a woman, victim of domestic violence, made by Gleici, a situation in which my name was not mentioned, but there were insinuations”, continued Wagner.
“My relationship with Gleici triggered processes that still accompany me, I imagine that because it was a relationship considered public and even though my life followed a path very distant from hers, this relationship still reverberates in some way”, he added.
Finally, the ex-BBB decided to apologize to Gleici Damasceno: “I can understand what she felt and feels to this day, and for the words I said at that moment, in the purest sincerity, I ask for forgiveness. I want to state that this type of behavior that they supposedly linked to me does not match my attitudes in my affective and interpersonal relationships, and if, unfortunately, traumas occurred in relationships that over time became toxic, I ask for forgiveness and affirm that my quest to be a better human being does not include these traits.”
