Rio – Gil do Vigor published a video on Instagram, this Wednesday afternoon (8), to vent about the negative comments he sees on the internet. The 32-year-old former BBB member reflected on the hateful messages he finds on social media and appealed to internet users to stop the virtual attacks, without citing a specific case.

“Guys, I’ve been wanting to come here and talk to you about a very serious subject for a while now. About this culture in our society, because unfortunately people, people on the internet are preaching love and in five minutes they’re preaching hate, sending messages”, began the economist.

Afterwards, the native of Pernambuco raised a question: “Where is people’s ability to dialogue, to talk? Guys, it’s possible to dialogue in a respectful, healthy way. Take a shine to someone else’s beauty. Whether the person is beautiful or not, whether you like it or not, that’s your problem!” he warned.

“We are in a society that values ​​beauty. And if you don’t fit in, you are not accepted. As a gay man, I was often excluded, rejected. Because it has become a business like this: either you fit into this standard or you are out”, lamented Gilberto.

The former “BBB 21” participant also took the opportunity to leave a warning about the attacks that celebrities receive on social media: “You say whatever you want on the internet. It seems that the person reading it is not a human being with feelings. We read what you write. Enough saying no, because we read it. We feel it, we cry!”, said Gil.

In the comments, the influencer’s mother, Jaciara Santana, echoed her son: “Many people take their own lives because they are attacked”, she warned. “Exactly! We need to love more, and thus save lives”, replied the economist.
