Author Walcyr Carrasco will rescue elements that were successful in A Dona do Pedaço (2019) to try to increase the audience for Terra e Paixão. The novelist won over the Globo audience with the story of Maria da Paz (Juliana Paes), who chased away sadness by beating cakes and delivering optimistic phrases even in the face of major conflicts. He will use the candy maker’s essence in a scene that will air next week.
Aline (Barbara Reis) will compare fire to hate when baking bread, saying that both are capable of doing a lot of damage. At this moment on Globo’s nine o’clock soap opera, a chase will be going on.
Antônio (Tony Ramos) will be about to kill Vinícius (Paulo Rocha) after having caught the geologist in bed in a motel with Irene (Gloria Pires). The entire city of Nova Primavera will comment on the farmer’s bloodlust with the discovery of the betrayal.

Terra e Paixão is written by Walcyr Carrasco and Thelma Guedes. The story is set in the fictional city of Nova Primavera, in Mato Grosso do Sul. The plot will remain on air until January 19th of next year and will be replaced by the remake of Renascer (1993).
