Episode 4 reveals details of Starman’s resurrection

The latest episode of Stargirl, the CW series based on the DC Comics character, brought a major revelation that sheds more light on the resurrection of starman.

At one point in the episode we see the starman seriously injured, and when the stargirl takes him to the hospital, the doctor, Dr. Charles McNider, notices that he is healing surprisingly fast. It’s own Dr. McNider that suggests, then what might have caused the return of starman of the dead.

The doctor reveals that, apparently, when the starman was killed, the Cosmic Staff fired a strong energy at him, in an attempt to save him. Gradually the energy staff was healing the starman, until finally being able to resuscitate him. And the same energy is causing him to heal faster.

She just didn’t expect her stepfather, Pat Dugan (Luke Wilson), used to be Stripesy, the hero Starman’s (Joel McHale) right-hand man.

In the comics, for those who don’t know, Stargirl was inspired by Johns’ sister Courtney, who tragically died in the TWA 800 explosion in 1996.

According to the synopsis for the season three premiere: With Starman (Joel McHale) back from the dead and her former enemies vowing to reform, Courtney (Brec Bassinger) is hopeful that there will finally be peace in Blue Valley. But when Gambler (guest star Eric Goins) arrives in town looking to make his own peace, the team finds themselves at odds over whether he can be trusted.
