Assemble the ingredients for the cake

  • 3 eggs;
  • 1 cup of sugar tea;
  • 4 tablespoons of margarine with more than 60% lipid;
  • 1 cup of liquid milk tea;
  • 2 cups of wheat flour tea;
  • 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder 50%;
  • 1 pinch of salt;
  • 1 tablespoon of powdered chemical yeast.

Ingredients for Brigadier

  • 395ml of condensed milk;
  • 100 ml of sour cream;
  • 25 g semisweet chocolate, broken into pieces.

How to make chocolate volcano cake

First, place the eggs, margarine, sugar in a mixer and beat until it forms a light cream. Then, turn off the appliance and with the help of a wire whisk add the milk, wheat flour and cocoa powder. Now, finish the dough with the yeast and a pinch of salt (do not put the 2 together). Bake in preheated oven for about 45 minutes. When you unmold it, leave it upside down.

Then, make the brigadier. Place all the ingredients in a heavy-bottomed pan and place over medium heat. Stir constantly with a silicone spatula or wooden spoon (this makes all the difference). When the mixture gains a little consistency and you can see the bottom of the pan, it means it is ready. However, be careful not to thicken the brigadier too much. Then pour it all into the hole in the middle of the cake until it overflows.

In this way the chocolate volcano cake is ready. However, if you like a moist cake, you can mix 1/3 of a glass of condensed milk with 2/3 of water and wet the cake before adding the brigadeiro. Also, to decorate, sprinkle some chocolate sprinkles. This preparation yields 8 servings.
