The most we see is José Lucas lying in a hammock, inanimate. Shirt full of blood and bullet in the chest. He really looks dead. The blade of the dagger glows incandescent and is cooled in water, with the sound of that hiss. He was being sterilized. The dagger walks towards José Lucas, carried by hands that we are not sure who they are, and they stop over the wound in his chest. The point of the dagger sinks into the flesh to remove the bullet from an apparently lifeless body. Camera reveals Old Man from Rio extracting the bullet lodged inside José Lucas’ chest, who doesn’t even react to pain”, describes Bruno Luperi in his text.
