Presenter Danilo Gentili became a subject on social media this Saturday (3), after sharing a post, mocking the attempted assassination of Argentina’s vice president, Cristina Kirchner. On your Twitter profile, the comedian mocked the political attack by criticizing the country’s economic situation.
“I’m glad that Cristina Krischer suffered the attack in Argentina, because there the guy has to choose: either he buys the revolver or he buys the bullets”, mocked the presenter of Silvio Santos’ radio station. The comment generated anger in some netizens, who demanded that the social network take punitive measures against Danilo Gentili:
“These bastards like Gentili should be suspended by @TwitterBrasil. Making a joke of political attack. It makes no difference, but good to remember that the weapon had 5 BULLETS. Somebody has to stop these stage and mic bastards.” complained a netizen in the comments of the comedian’s post. The presenter did not let the criticism go unnoticed and again made fun of the situation: “What’s up brother. I just made a faux pas”said Danilo Gentili.
This Thursday (1), Fernando André Sabag Montiel, a 35-year-old Brazilian living in Argentina since the 1990s, was accused of trying to assassinate Vice President Cristina Kirchner. The parliamentarian had a gun pointed at her head as she greeted supporters in front of her home in Buenos Aires.
The Brazilian would have tried to shoot the policy, but the weapon would have failed. The suspect was arrested shortly thereafter. According to Argentine press information, Fernando refused to testify about the crime this Friday (2). He was questioned before federal judge María Eugenia Capuchetti and prosecutor Carlos Rívolo at the Federal Police headquarters.
The suspect is charged with attempted murder. Police officers investigating the case are investigating the possibility of others involved in the attack against Argentina’s vice president. The suspect remains in detention in the country’s capital.
