The Ibovespa closed this Thursday (1) with slight gains of 0.81%, at 110,405.30 points, following the performance of actions linked to the domestic market and the result of the Brazilian GDP. The dollar ended up 0.73% at R$5.238.

Among the biggest rises, MRV shares, with gains of 7.59%, followed by Cyrela, with appreciation of 6.92% and Banco Pan, with an increase of 5.45%.

On the negative side, IRB Brasil shares fell 14.63%, followed by Pão de Açúcar, down 5.26%, and Petz, down 2.49%.

Vale’s shares fell 0.95%, CSN’s shares fell 1.55% and Petrobras’ shares (PETR3;PETR4) rose 1.83% and 1.87%, respectively.

In terms of commodities, iron ore traded on the Dalian Exchange fell 1.17% to US$97.99. Oil, on the other hand, also closed down, with the Brent barrel at US$ 91.94, decelerating 3.87%.

Among the highlights of this Thursday’s trading session, the disclosure of gross domestic product (GDP) for the second quarter, which advanced 1.2%, beating market estimates.

In New York, the Dow Jones and S&P 500 indexes advanced, respectively, 0.46% and 0.30%. The Nasdaq fell 0.26%.
