Petrobras (PETR4) will reduce the price of gasoline by 7.08% at the refineries linked to the company starting tomorrow, Friday, September 2nd.
The announcement made this Thursday, September 1, is the second indicating a reduction in just over two weeks. But, considering since July 20, it is the fourth price cut, going from R$ 4.06 per liter to R$ 3.28 now.
Therefore, in short, the average sales value of gasoline A from the company to the distributors goes from R$ 3.53 to R$ 3.28 per liter. As a result, there is an announced reduction of R$ 0.25 per liter in refineries.

According to Petrobras, with the mandatory blend of 73% gasoline A and 27% anhydrous ethanol for the composition of gasoline sold at gas stations, the state-owned company’s share in the composition of pricing to the final consumer will rise from R$ 2.57, on average, to R$ 2.39 for each liter sold at the pump.
Diesel falls again and gasoline reaches R$ 4.19, at the lowest price in 2022
After the ICMS cut, the appreciation of the real against the dollar and the drop in the barrel of oil, fuels in Brazil continue to fall.
According to the National Petroleum Agency (ANP), diesel fell 1.7% in the last week and regular gasoline reached R$ 4.19, the lowest value recorded in 2022. See in the video below:
