As of this Friday (2/8), the average price of gasoline sold by Petrobras to distributors will rise from R$3.53 to R$3.28 per litre, a reduction of R$0.25. In the last adjustment, announced almost fifteen days ago, the company updated the fuel price by 4.85%.

Also according to the company, considering the mandatory mixture of 73% gasoline A and 27% anhydrous ethanol for the composition of gasoline sold at gas stations, Petrobras’ share of the consumer price will exceed R$ 2.57, on average. , to R$ 2.39 for each liter sold at the pump.

According to industry experts, it can take up to six days for consumers to feel the price drop. This is considering the time it takes for distributors to make the purchase at the refineries, which is usually weekly, and to renew product inventories at gas stations.
