The expectation is to gather at least 300 exhibitors and receive more than 52 thousand visitors to present market news and promote the inclusion of people with disabilities.
The fair is the main one in the sector in Latin America and receives employment agencies specializing in people with disabilities and reduced mobility, in addition to segments such as trained animals, adapted vehicles, manufacturers of hearing aids, special equipment, hospital supplies, prostheses and orthotics. , alternative therapies, tourism and leisure, pharmaceutical industry, wheelchair manufacturers, among others.
“The event has the role of promoting inclusion and accessibility in all spheres of society. Reatech is a showcase for the development of this sector marked by constant updating and innovation, that is, it is a time to discover the news and trends aimed at people with disabilities and reduced mobility”, says Maurício Macedo, CEO of Fiera Milano Brasil, organizer and promoter of Reatech 2022.
Worldwide, more than 1 billion people currently need assistive technology. To get an idea of the capacity for innovation within this market, there are more than 130,000 patent applications related to conventional and emerging assistive technologies between 1998 and 2020, according to a report by the World Intellectual Property Organization, UN (United Nations) .
Those who visit the fair can also enjoy the contents that will be taught during the four days of the event. This year, the Pet Course – Animal Assisted Therapy, the Equine Therapy Workshop, Reamed (Congress of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation), TecFisio (Seminar on Advanced Technologies in Physiotherapy) and Reashow – Exhibitors’ Seminar are planned.
