One serious accident involving four vehicles left three people injured this Friday morning (2) on BR-267, in Bicas, in the Zona da Mata of Minas Gerais.
According to the Fire Department, a truck was heading towards Juiz de Fora, when it hit a truck, which was coming from Bicas. The first vehicle then rolled onto the track and hit a car, which was hit from behind by a bus.
The driver of the truck, a 54-year-old military police officer working for the state’s Civil Defense, had body abrasions and fractures. He was taken conscious by Samu and taken to Albert Sabin Hospital, in Juiz de Fora.
The driver of the truck was slightly injured. The third victim, a woman who was driving the car, had to be taken to a health unit as a precaution, as she has a back problem.
In a note to g1The MG Civil Defense confirmed the accident and said that the injured were rescued and are stable. Police, Fire Department and Samu were at the incident, which led to a closure of the highway. The cause of the sequence of crashes will be investigated.
Paraibuna Transportes, the company responsible for the bus, reported that there were no injured passengers.
