Family and friends of Rosival Luiz, from Arapiraquá, known as Senhor Rosa, are demanding justice for his murder. He was shot dead last Tuesday, 30th, in the village of Bonsucesso, in the city of Coruripe, on the coast of Alagoas. Senhor Rosa lived in Coruripe for 8 years.
The man from Arapiraquá was sitting in front of his residence waiting for the egg car to pass by, at which point he was hit by gunfire. The victim suffered two gunshots to the chest and died at the scene.
Senhor Rosa was laid to rest and buried last Thursday, 1st, in the Primavera neighborhood, in Arapiraca, Agreste de Alagoas, where he lived for many years. He worked for many years in a supermarket chain in the capital of Agreste.
Outraged by the crime, Mr. Rosa’s family demands justice, so that the crime can be elucidated and punished to the fullest extent of the law.
Speaking to Portal Já É Notícia, Mr. Rosa’s granddaughter stated that she does not know who to attribute the crime to. “We are not attributing it to robbery or deceit. Just evil, envy. That’s why we want justice so much. He was a very happy person, without any evil and didn’t like any type of discussion.”
“The wake that brought together many people who are outraged by the situation that happened, the burial was full of commotion and sadness, but a lot of love from their family and friends”, said a granddaughter of Rosival Luiz.
“What we cannot do is let this go unpunished, Mr. Rosa was an exemplary citizen and a wonderful son, brother, father and grandfather did not deserve a death like that. He has a family and many friends who love him and who will not rest until this case is solved. We want justice!” she added.
