Suspect of planning to kill his parents in SC is caught with a knife before the crime

The son of a couple stabbed inside their home in Indaial, in Vale do Itajaí, in Santa Catarina, was arrested after confessing, on Thursday (1st), to having devised a plan to kill his parents together with a friend. The crimes took place on Monday (29).

Márcio Elizeu Meloa 45-year-old businessman, succumbed to his injuries. The woman, 39, was taken to the hospital in serious condition and is recovering, according to the Civil Police. Their 18-year-old son and his friend of the same age were detained.

The crime took place in the early hours of Monday, at the family home, in the Estrada das Areias neighborhood. The victims were stabbed several times by the couple’s son and his friend. The two criminals fled the scene soon after and were only located on Wednesday (31).

After being detained, The victims’ son confessed that he proposed a cash reward to his friend for his help in the crime. The two were taken to a prison in the region.
