A man was arrested after robbing a store in the São Cristóvão neighborhood, in Ouro Preto (in the Central Region of Minas), yesterday (1/2). A knife and drugs were found with him.
The police action
The Military Police (PM) were called to respond to an incident at a commercial establishment, where an individual had committed a theft.
The case occurred last Thursday night. The owner reported to the PM that a shirtless man, carrying a black backpack, of medium height and dyed red hair, had robbed the store.
The owner highlighted that the suspect took advantage of the brief absence of an employee, who went to the bathroom, to steal chocolate bars and energy drinks.
After analyzing the recordings from the internal monitoring system, the garrison identified the individual as a persistent criminal operating in the central region of the city.
Starting patrolling, the vehicles managed to locate the suspect, who was approached. During the search, the police found a knife in his waistband and, when checking the backpack he was carrying, they discovered two bags of cocaine.
When questioned about the stolen products, the individual admitted to having consumed the chocolates and exchanging the “Red Bull” energy drinks for illicit drugs.
Given the facts, the author, already known for robbery, robbery and drug trafficking, was arrested and taken to the police station.
