After a passage of time of 35 years, who will play Jacutinga in the second phase of Renascer? We tell you everything!

José Inocêncio (Humberto Carrão) is what can be called a predestined man in Renascer. Alone in the world and without possessions, his strength lies in the desire he carries to become someone in life. And this happens from the moment he arrives in the interior of Ilhéus, in the south of Bahia and begins an immediate connection with that land.

From the amazement with the jequitibá-rei and the encounter with the tree known as the giant of the forest comes the iconic moment in which José Inocêncio plants the machete and takes his oath:“As long as my machete is stuck at your feet, neither you nor I will die… neither from a killed death… nor from a dead death!” thus establishing the pact that will accompany him throughout his entire career in one of the most emblematic scenes of Renascer and Brazilian television drama.

Jacutinga is the owner of the ‘casa das damas’, she is a woman of great strength and wisdom. Welcoming, she becomes a second mother to Maria Santa (Duda Santos) when the young girl is abandoned on her doorstep by her parents. She is the one who promotes the marriage of Maria Santa and José Inocêncio (Humberto Carrão) and delivers the couple’s four children. Jacutinga has a special affection for Norberto (Matheus Nachtergaele) until the day he leaves and never returns. THAT being the case, the girl does not die in Bruno Luperi’s serials.
