Aloisyo José Campelo Coutinho, 46 years old, is the driver of the McLaren that was involved in an accident with two other vehicles and then hit a tree, last Saturday (8), on Avenida Afonso Pena, in Campo Grande. The driver, who became known in the city as the ‘Damha partygoer’, left the scene after the accident.

The lawyer, Ricardo Souza Pereira, who represents Aloisyo, highlighted that ‘it was a normal accident’, however, the client felt intimidated by the people who approached the scene.

“It was a normal accident like any other that happens. My client was taking a walk and ended up getting involved in an accident, as happens in other cases, but what caught attention is the fact that the vehicle was a high-value car and Even so, he felt intimidated and called me to represent him”, he says.

The lawyer also confirmed that the vehicle does not belong to his client, however, he did not explain whether the client was testing the car for a possible purchase. He also said that the vehicle is insured and that the expenses will possibly be covered by the Insurance Company.

“The vehicle does not belong to the person but belongs to the insurance company and my client was duly qualified to drive that vehicle. There is no reason for the insurance company not to pay”, he highlights.

Aloisyo became ‘famous’ for the parties held at the luxury condominium Damha III. The Residencial residents’ association made an urgent request for early protection to exclude the ‘famous’ resident. The request was filed after a series of complaints about disturbance and peace due to the parties thrown by the resident.
