Federal Government program for debt renegotiation with discounts, Desenrola Brasil enters a new phase starting this Monday (20). Debts of up to R$20,000 registered as bank debts, such as credit cards, and late bills from other sectors, such as energy, water and retail trade, are now considered.

Debtors must have an income of up to two minimum wages (R$ 2,640.00) and be registered with CadÚnico (Single Registry for Social Programs of the Federal Government) to participate.

You must access the Desenrola website within the Portal Gov.br platform to find out about the proposals registered in each CPF. The interested party must have a silver or gold account and have up-to-date data to begin renegotiating.

On the website, the debtor can choose a financial institution or company registered in the program to carry out the renegotiation. Then, you will have to select the number of installments, which can be up to 60, or choose to pay in cash.

Lower values - Debts from R$5,000.01 to R$20,000 remain subject to renegotiation until December 30th, but with updated values.

After this period, the discounts will be maintained, but the debt can only be paid in cash.

Mutirão – On Wednesday (22), there will be “D-Day – Mutirão Desenrola”, organized by the Federal Government in partnership with civil society organizations, banks and other creditors to encourage debt renegotiations and expand the reach of the program.

Banks will be able to extend opening hours for part of their branches on the 22nd. Announcements must be made by each institution.
