man, without documents, but approximately 40 years old, was found dead in the bathroom of a church this Wednesday morning (15), in Bairro Universitário, in Campo Grande. According to information from the Fire Department, he was known to roam the region.
Witnesses who did not want to be interviewed told rescuers that, around 10 am, the man saw the church open and asked for a glass of water. Then he asked to use the bathroom.
The faithful who were there to organize the afternoon service were surprised by the delay, went back to see if anything had happened and found the man unconscious.
As soon as they arrived, the firefighters came across the body lying down, with the chest facing down and the face inside the trash can, already lifeless. Death was confirmed around 11am, when thermometers registered 39°C in Campo Grande, but it is not possible to say that the heat was the cause of the sudden illness.
The Fire Department and Civil Police were at the scene. The case will be registered at Depac (Community Emergency Care Station) Cepol as a death to be clarified.
